Father's Day

As everyone is challenged by their children, so is Cowboy. I've talked about C but not much about his son. The son does well for himself but recently has had some challenges in his life that have been about him not making healthy choices for himself. Not to long ago, Cowboy challenged him about his decisions and let's just say it wasn't very pretty. Cowboy did it in a way that wasn't the smoothest but I think the Son got the point.

Today the Son gave a "little speech" (per Cowboy) to him. The Son told Cowboy that he remembers a time that he was in trouble and Cowboy wrote out a big check to bailed him out. The Son said that he appreciated Cowboy challenging his actions and showing him that what he was doing wasn't right. The Son sold his camero to buy a new motorcycle and with the left over money, gave it to Cowboy for him to buy a motorcycle for himself. Payment in full the bail out loan and for being a good dad. Cowboy was proud. I'm proud of him and of his son. It speaks volumes of the man that I married and of his caring and concern for his children.

So it looks like we have a new motorcycle in our future.

Well, it sounds like you're not worried about a motorcycle. That's good!
