A New Little ONE

Cowboy became a grandpa yesterday, although I can't call him "Grandpa". He says he's to young and I agree to make him feel better. Although, he's not to young but he sure looks and acts to young so I'll go along with him.

Cowboy has two grown kids from his 1st marriage. They are grown and pretty cool. I get along with both of them well. We even had the youngest live with us for 9 long months last year. I say youngest like they were 12 or something. The youngest is 25. (Cowboy started young).

I don't have kids but really want them. The biological clock is CLANGING LOUDLY, and if you are quiet enough I'm sure you can hear it from where you sit. I told Cowboy that we need a little one around, he replied that if we had one, "someone would be staying home alot, while someone else was out playing lots of golf" (sounds like a built is babysitter to me, thanks babe!). I'll just have to keep on working on that one.

I've decided to start blogging after receiving some encouragement from a friend. I am really excited about this and think it will be a good way to record my life and share it with others. I'm not sure anyone will ever read this and Cowboy is sure it is a way to attract psychos and crazies. Time will tell on all the above.....

Welcome to the land of blogs. I am so happy you decided to start a blog. I have tried encouraging most of my friends to start a blog, but only a few have taken me up on that challenge. I hope you will find it as rewarding as I have and more importantly, I hope we can prove Cowboy wrong about thinking you will attract crazy people.

I love the look of your blog and I especially love the picture of Cowboy.

Ahhhh, Grasshopper .... if you write, they will read. (sound of Asian gong adding mystery and sense of wisdom to statement)

Never worry, Caroline is great about helping her friends blogs to get started! :D I stand as a case in point of that! Relax and enjoy!

I have to disagree with Caroline on her comment, however. You *will* attract crazy people! We all do at times! Just don't tell Cowboy this, right? It's OK. What you do is call Caroline and have her tell you how to turn on the moderation or other security features! See? Simple!! What?? You're already calling her to find out how to curtail my comments????? sigh.

Welcome, MJ to Bloggerville! I've heard a lot about you, some ...er, uh, I mean all of it good, and I look forward to getting to know you via our blogs. But I want to meet the real you on my next trip to KC!

The clock is ticking over this way, too. I swear, every time I see a baby my ovaries pulse! All the best to you & The Cowboy.
